Mike currently holds a number of non-executive appointments. He was Deputy Group Chief Executive of Lloyds TSB Group plc from 2000 to 2003, and acted as Non-Executive Chairman of the Association of British Insurers from 2001 to 2003. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive for Scottish Widows Fund & Life Assurance Society/Scottish Widows plc where he worked for 39 years. He has been a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries since 1969
